01 – FREE RESOURCE

100 ready-to-use prompts from OpenAI ⚡

OpenAI recently published a library of 100 prompts for study, career, and life. While originally designed for students, many of these will be valuable for anyone:

Try this: Use “Explain the small print” on your next contract, then follow up: “Highlight any unusual obligations or auto-renew clauses.”

02 – NEW FEATURE

ChatGPT Projects - Now on the Free plan 📂

Projects (bring chats + files into one workspace) are now available on the Free tier, with paid tiers allowing larger uploads. Handy for keeping a proposal, assets, and chat history together.

Try this: Create a project called “Q4 Board Pack,” upload last quarter’s reports, and ask: “Draft a 1-page exec summary with highlights, risks, and next steps.”

03 – NEW FEATURE

Microsoft Copilot now finds things faster and remembers what matters 🧠

Copilot now finds your docs, emails, and notes across Microsoft 365 more reliably, and can learn lightweight preferences (like clients/projects) to tailor answers. You can clear or turn this off anytime. Rolling out across Word, Outlook, Teams.

Try this (Work): “Copilot, pull up my latest customer proposal, the email thread with feedback, and turn the key points into a to-do list.”

Want to stay abreast of the latest new releases in Microsoft 365 Copilot?

There is a handy single place to see new features as they come out:

Don’t want all the detail? We’ll keep an eye on the release notes and summarise particularly interesting changes

04 – TIP

Get a “panel” of AIs to weigh in 💭

If a prompt really matters, try copy/pasting it to 2-3 different chatbots.

Each tool sees the problem slightly differently, so you’ll spot blind spots and borrow the best bits.

This works great with paid plans, but free tiers are fine for a quick sense-check.

The main tools we consult here for complex prompts are:

The great thing about this approach is it doesn't require any additional prompt writing time.

And, if you do this on a regular basis, you'll get a good sense of what sort of tasks each system is particularly good at.

05 – FOR FUN

Sora 2 - AI video now with synced sound 📢

OpenAI’s new Sora 2 creates more realistic, physics-aware video and now adds synced dialogue and sound effects.

There’s also a new iOS app with “cameos” so you can (optionally) record yourself once and drop your likeness into any scene.

Rolling out first in the U.S. & Canada with invites; broader regions “soon.”

Note: Pro users will also get access to a higher-quality Sora 2 model on the web.

In the meantime though, here are some examples of the sort of quality of image that Sora 2 can generate:

Perhaps even more amazing though, they also made a ‘bloopers’ video for the above video - also entirely using AI:

That’s it for this issue!

Let us know which tip you’ll try first or share your own AI “aha!” moment.

We’d love to hear your feedback and stories – just hit reply.
