Introducing Devil’s Advocate Prompting 👹

ChatGPT can be incredible for giving you ideas.

But did you know - you can also use it for useful criticism?

This approach can help you consider risks related to a decision, strategy, idea or opportunity.

Simply give any prompt, and finish with something like:

{Your Original Prompt}

I want you to play devil's advocate and highlight ways the above might not work. Be specific, realistic and pessimistic!

Bonus: when it gives feedback, ask a follow-up question about how those risks/issues can be addressed.

One of ChatGPT’s best features is now free 🥳 

When we present our workshop, some of the biggest gasps from attendees always come when we upload files and ask ChatGPT to analyse them.

Previously this was only available on ChatGPT Plus for USD 20 per month.

However, this is now available for free.

All you need to do is sign up or log in with a free account (it doesn’t work if you aren’t logged in).

A few things to try:

• Upload a PDF and ask for a summary

• Upload a spreadsheet and ask for insights

• Upload a photo of the inside of your fridge and ask for ideas of what you can cook!
